| Fireworks Express! 2010 - The Party on the Bridge Goes "On the Road" |
Join the MTP as the Fireworks Express! goes "On the Road" in 2010 to Hershey to view their Independence Day
fireworks display from a prominent location overlooking Hershey's tourist attractions. The Antique Auto Club of
America (AACA) Museum will be the venue for this year's Fireworks Express!
With the recent completion of the Corridor Two Feasibility Study of transportation alternatives in the Harrisburg/Hershey/Lebanon
corridor, the Modern Transit Partnership (MTP) is holding this year's event in the same area to focus attention on this new corridor for mass transit.
> Sunday, July 4, 2010, 7:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
> Patrons from the Harrisburg area and west can avail themselves of complimentary parking at Capital Area Transit
(901 N. Cameron Street, Harrisburg), and ride a premium coach to the party. Departure time from CAT is 7:30 p.m. sharp!
Patrons from the Hershey area can drive to the venue and park. The party begins at 7:45 p.m.
> Once at the Museum, guests will alight from the buses to enjoy one of the great scenic views in Hershey. Entrance to the AACA
Museum is included in the ticket cost. Light refreshments, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for your enjoyment.
> Following the conclusion of the fireworks display, guests will reboard the buses and be transported back to CAT to conclude the evening
of fun. Anticipated drop-off time at the transit property is approximately 11:00 p.m.
> You are encouraged to bring your own portable seating or blankets with you. Transport of such seating will be your responsibility.
There will be no outdoor seating provided at the venue.
> This year's event will take place rain or shine. A large tent will offer protection in the event of inclement weather. There will be no ticket refunds.
> Tickets are available for $65 per person. (Ages 6-20, $30 per person. Age five and under, no charge.)
The tax-deductible value of a $65 ticket is $30; for a $30 ticket it is $15.

The Modern Transit Partnership is exempt from federal income tax under
section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The MTP relies on private contributions, as well
